Pupil Premium  Reporting to parents

Context

The pupil premium grant is awarded to schools in England and Wales for every child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the past six years, and for children who have been in care who have been looked after for at least six months.Details of St Paul’s pupil premium grant allocations are as follows:

 

For the financial year 2012/2013 £34,200 ( £600 for each of 57 eligible pupils)

For the financial year 2013/2014 £50,159 ( £900 for each of 56 eligible pupils)

For the financial year 2014/2015 £69,238 ( £1300 for each of 53 eligible pupils)

For the financial year 2015/2016 £59,400 ( £1320 for each of 45 eligible pupils)

For the Financial Year 2016/2017 £58080 ( £1320 for each of 44 eligible pupils)

PE and Sport Grant funding for Primary Schools

Impact of 2015 - 2016 funding:

  • The school bought into the Barnet Schools Sports Partnership which provided advice and access to some school-based sporting events 
  • increased the number of younger children able to take part in after school clubs
  • Year 1 ,2 and 3 attended football festivals organised by Sports Partnership
  • School ran  two football teams - mixed and girls who have participated in Barnet small schools league
