Sustrans are running FREE, socially distanced, 1-2-1 family cycling sessions this summer holidays, suitable for all ages and abilities.
Learn to ride sessions are for those riders unable to ride and will include fun games to build up confidence and skills in balance, control and pedalling. For the more able riders, we can offer more advance sessions to build confidence on-road including positioning, signalling and negotiating junctions. All sessions can be tailored to the riders needs and the rider will be able to progress at their own pace. Sessions will last up to one hour.
If you are interested please drop our schools Bike It Officer, Mollie, an email at Mollie.McCulloch@sustrans.org.uk and let them know the following:
• Your/ your child(ren)’s cycling ability
• What are your cycling goals? For example ‘I want my child to be able to cycle without stabilisers’ or ‘I would like to learn to ride a bike’.
• Which area of Barnet do you live in?
• Preferred date(s): 25, 26, 27, 28 August?
Please note: Due to the current covid-19 regulations, you will need to bring your own bike and helmet along to the session.
Mollie will be back in touch to arrange a plan that is best for you and your family.
