On World Book Day we focused on the poems by Benjamin Zephaniah. We had so much fun performing it to our teachers. We also looked at traditional chinese poems called “gu shi” poetry which only use four lines!
Sycamore Class have been learning about different poems in the “A Great Big Cuddle” collection by Michael Rosen. We have been learning about the descriptive language of poems and the different ways they can be structured. We have also been learning how to write fact files about the story the Robot and the bluebird!
A bluebird becomes the Robot’s heart!
The robot is moving really slowly and finds it hard to walk!
