During Science week, Oak class investigated a rather strange substance called Ooblek which is simply a mixture of cornflour and water.

Ooblek is a non- Newtonian  fluid. It can feel like a solid when you hold it in a ball, but it becomes liquidy when you let your hand go loose. It takes the shape of whatever is holding it.

To make Ooblek at home you will need:

  • Cornflour
  • Water
  • A bowl for mixing.
