Oak class have been learning about Buddhism this half term and our unit of work is called “What does it mean to be a Buddhist?”
We examined the Buddhist idea of “Nirvana” or enlightenment. In order to reach Nirvana, Buddhists need to follow the Noble Eightfold path. In one lesson we compared Nirvana to the Christian concept of heaven.
