The Reception staff would like to invite you for a brief meeting on Weds 30th March 8.55 – 9.20 am to give you some more information about how reading, writing and maths are taught in Reception class.
The aims of the meeting are:
– To inform you about what has been taught in reading, writing and maths so far, and what we will cover for the rest of the year.
– To give you ideas about how you can help your child at home.
– To give you ideas about how to help your child to be ready for Year 1 (it will be time for the children to move into ‘the big school’ before we know it!)
We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
