Hazel Class enjoyed learning all about the Anglo-Saxons this term. We found out where they originally came from and the impact that they had on the indigenous tribes living in England.

Here we are using our map skills to identify places in  England that have Anglo-Saxon place names.  Did you know that that ham meant village and stead meant place? In London we have lots of places that have been influenced by the Anglo-Saxons, for example Hampstead which means village place.
