Houses of Parliament

Oak Class were lucky enough to visit the Houses of Parliament as park of UK Parliament week. We explored the theme of Democracy – one of the British Values.  We sat in the House of Commons and also the House of Lords to hear debates taking place in real time.

We took part in a workshop to learn about how bills are created. We then voted and our bill was passed!
