Ash Class have been investigating length and height. Above, you can see how we learnt to measure things in our classroom (including our friends!) with our hands and feet. To the left we were using non standard measurements to use our key words taller, shorter and longer.
This week we have started looking at numbers to 40! We have been using cubes to make numbers and separating them into tens and ones.
“Roshana is shorter than Phoebe-Mei and Phoebe- Mei is taller than Roshana.”
Ash class have also been learning about 2D and 3D shapes! Here are Henry and Noah making 3D models of a cube and Michael building a structure using 3D shapes.
