This half-term Sycamore Class focused on the theme of Pattern for Art day. The pupils learnt about artists including Francoise Gilot, Gustav Klimt and how they used patterns in their artwork. They also looked at Picasso and Frida Kahlo to explore how to create a portrait which represented themselves. The pupils used polystyrene tiles to create a repeating pattern of their face and drew a dual portrait representing their inner and outer self.
