In Saplings, we have been learning about the story of Palm Sunday. As a class, the children created a pathway of palm leaves to represent the palm leaves that were laid out for Jesus as he rode in on a donkey. We discussed why the crowd laid out palm leaves and robes, to make the journey more comfortable for Jesus.
