To mark the 300th anniversary of Christopher Wren, St. Paul’s Cathedral Music Outreach project has been working with schools on a 4 week programme that introduces the history of the building, its music and architects.

Year 5 have worked hard to learn a piece of choral muisc, first heard in 1697. They have devised their own body percussion focussing on composing and building a rhythm. They have listened to lots of music from old and new St. Paul’s as well as music from other cultures and genres.

They look forward to a bit more practice and then sharing the piece with you all!
